Gearbox Rebuild

Hi Guys

I am starting to grind second gear during the change from first. Also the rest of the gears are feeling a little notchy.

How hard is it to rebuild the gearbox....as simple as the rockhoppering a xfer?

What sort of cost is involved for the "typical' rebuild?

and yes serching was done :finger:

Thanks
Heath

COILY BOXES ARE DIFFERENT RATIOS...

A REBUILD KIT WILL SET YOU BACK AROUND $150 TO $350 DEPENDING ON WHATS NEEDED.

THEY ARE SLIGHTLY MORE COMPLICATED THAN A T-CASE TO REBUILD...BUT IF YOUR CONFIDENT YOULL HAVE NO PROBS.. :D

Just over 100,000 but I gave it a hard time in the early days...pre gearing

have you tried castrol syntrax gearbox oil? My gearbox displays similar simptoms but I think I might try this first.
