Petrol Motor transplant that you have or know of into a GQ. Was an adapter plate available or did you have to customise one up. Was it carby or EFI.

there are a couple of links here about gq's with bb chevs. one was blown as well. using 502 crate motors, apparently.

Yup 502s. Seen a few videos of them from the United Arab Emirates..

I was just looking at a built up H1 Hummer with 44" tires and a 502. Motor is impressive yes but your description fits this H1 perfectly!
