Heres the story. 89 Sierra. Got my front lockrite from the states, pull the diff apart and to my surprise its a 2 pinion diff. I thought it would be a 4 pinion so did my factory manual. Powertrax says you cant fit lockrite to a 2 pinion. Has anybody had this problem and if so how did you fix it.
Thanks in advance Ben

I think from memory you have to buy the 4 pin carrier. Maybe a NT diff centre with the locker will work.
cheers

Get a nt front carrier, its 4 pin & has the right side gears.
If you use a rear carrier with your side gears they won't go without machining.

Ben,
I have a spare rear NT center from where I welded mine. If you get stuck finding one you can have mine after chrissy.

Other option is I could buy your front one off you for mine and you could get another one. Let me know.
