Hey guys I know a lot of you are familiar with the SIMEX out there.
Where would the JT'II have an edge over the ET's.

Have been running ET's on my truck it kicks ass everywhere EXCEPT on snow(sucks) and on rockcrawling sometimes

Thanks
JAY

Hi Guys,

Both JTIIs and MT117 are often used as front tyre on tractors...wonder if they were designed for tractors at first....

JTIIs are excellent on almost anything except smooth bolders, being originated from Malaysia (believed to be, sorry if I'm wrong) snow testing was to no available here. And due to a harder compound, they tend to last quite long.

ETIIs are excellent on almost everything except smooth bolders (not good for rock crawling, not designed to do so), sand (digs its own grave), and snow (not available in Malaysia)

Both JTIIs and ETIIs are seriously designed for mud. Throws away mud very effectively, evenly in thick clay type mud. However my dollars are on JTIIs coz ETIIS are single rotational designed tyre, which means they perform excellent in forward movement, but performance decreases when reverse. JTIIs are both ways.

A mate of mine was so pissed off with BFG's MT awhile back during a trip where ETs and JTs move up a clay terrain slope with no ruts effortlessly, but his BFG's MT became a donut and was performing all-wheel spin. And it was only a 15 - 20 degre slope...

In my opinion, BFG MT, Goodyear MTR, etc are good allround offroad tyres, but when come to serious stuff (except rock crawling) JTIIs and ETIIs are the way to go...

Cheers!!

had my JTII's For approx 11 months now, have done approx 20 -25 thousand kays on them with heaps of tread left on them. have found them great in soft sand, excellent in mud or any loose surfaces very good on rocks when aired right down. great all round tyre. a bit vauge on road, but you can live with that and there super tough.
