Hi
Any feedbacks about the possibility of a dual transfer case on a disco?
I know Daddylonglegs been working on it....but haven't heard anything yet. I would be pretty intersted.

PTSchram on pirate was looking at doing a limited number of conversion kits but things have gone a bit quiet on that thread lately so I would guess that it is a no go, in the too hard basket. In a year or so Roverdrive may bring out an over/underdrive but I wouldn't bet on it.

things are moving here.

Looks like I can have a new input gear with the spline to suit the Q/trac along with a new shaft from Zf to Qtrac, pricing vauge at moment but around 12-$1500.00.

adaptor plate going ok.

But I will not be starting untill next year. (other issues slowing process).

Good work Michael! Have you worked out what the torque figure will be at the wheels from your 5.7 when this is running??? I predict your axles will look like a big metal Twistie in no time! :D

mmmm Twisties!!!!

well I will try to educate the driiver :D to not use excessive presure on the skinny pedal when all lows are used, imagining that when all are used one wants to crawl gently

but if all fails will just have some better axles made up.

With it in low-low, i'd imagine the only pedal you will ever use will be the brake pedal. And pretty forcefully at that!!!
