Best places to buy and install ARB lockers new?

Well, i'm getting close to organising things, and I think the first on my list will be a rear ARb locker. I'm just wondering first up, are all places the same price for the lockers and compressor set up?
And mainly: Where's the best place to buy them and get them installed from? From ARB themselves or somewhere else? Experiences? Comments?
I'm Western Sydney.

ARB charge a fair wack to fit them...ring around and compare.

Try 4wd Shops and diff places, but a competent mechanic can fit 'em. Even if you get 'em to fit the lockers, and you do the electrical and air line plumbing, that can save some $$. You could also take out the diff centres and take them to the shop to save more.

If you are a very competent home mechanic it can be done. I got mine fitted by a local workshop, who were 4wd enthusiasts. The bloke that actually did it has a GQ shorty. He charged me $720 to fit both lockers and 4.6:1 R&P's fornt and rear. That's drive, drive out.

Like guts said with lockers, ring around for installation prices.

Try Suburban 4WD in Minchinbury. They mainly do Jeeps but do all other 4x4 stuff as well. Their diff mechanic has been working with ARB for 10 years so they do good stuff.

I had mine swapped from my 4.3 centre to my 4.56 for $100, so is cheaper, but don't know how that might affect warranty on a new one.

Yeah i think thats where people are getting confused. That quote above from Sam is for supply and total fit of rear locker, AND compressor.
I thought it's good, the list price of the two components isn't a whole lot less....

I think ARB charge $310 per dif, to to everything, then another $140ish to do the compressor and loom.

I figured I'd do the compressor and loom myself but for $140... I'm slightly better off spending the day at work and letting them do it
