I have a lux that is lifted 4 inch and the brake bias adjsuter hasnt been corrected does anyoneknow if i can get a kit for it or if i will have to make an extension myself?
Right now my rear brakes dont even work because of the angle of the rod so i need to fix it pretty quick.
Does anyone else haev this problem?
Any help woudl be appreciated thanks

I think I saw on someones lux where they had just drilled 4 holes in a piece of plate and made an extension for where it bolted onto the diff housing?? Not sure about that though.

Yep thats all you need to do. A bit of flat and 4 holes or you can drill 6 or 8 holes if you like so you can adjust it. All you need to do is lift the diff end of the rod up higher.

mine is connected to the diff via a eye to bolt type of thing i will probably make an extension that will screw down over the existing thread then jsut reconnect the rod.
Do u think this will work well enough to get soem rear brakes :D

Bend it :!:
Thats all i did. But the rod might be a bit short with a 4 inch lift.

just chop the rod short and cable tie it up to the tray, then adjust the setting by tightening the cable tie

The braket thing you are talking about bolts to the housing via 2 bolts, just undo these 2 bolts on the diff housing, then get a bit of flat and cut it about 150mm long, drill 2 holes in it at one end the write distance apart so you can then bolt this to the diff housing via the 2 blots yo removed, then drill 2 holes that same distance apart at the other end so it lifts the braket up 4 inches. This should take all of about 20 mins to do.

if you don't want to go to the effort yourself, Mick @ superior engineering sells the little plate / brackety thingy. $10 or $20 i think. its all you need.
