Hi all, i'm shark1e from the nissan 4x4 owners club uk,

I'm in need of some help please on checking my Jap import Nissan Mistral short vin/chassis number,

Nissan mistral (Terrano2)
2.7TD auto, Lwb
1995
engine code TD27B
vin/chassis Y-R20425376

I have to order a brake set kit for my auto free wheeling hubs, and their is a choice of part numbers on 1995 year, part brake A has sheared the two locating teeth off the metal brake ring, so not having front wheel drive i keep getting stuck in deep mud whilst off roading in our lovely wet country tracks LOL.

I have just been told that your members have a lot of jap imports in your country?

if any one can help please contact me on here or e-mail me at shark1e@nissan4x4ownersclub.co.uk

thanks in advance

Check the brake hose to the front drivers(?) side caliper. If it hasnt been messed with thats a good place to look first for a build date. Should be written on there.
Read this info somewhere but better than nothing i guess and worth a look.

Cheers

Hi shark1e

I have access to the European Fast cataloge which is the parts catalogue for your vehicle so I may be able to help you out. I tried putting your Vin in but it didn't accept it. I know in australia all our Vin's are 17 charactures long but unsure of your Vin's. Can you check and confirm you Vin for me.

Nice to see someone else with a Terrano II. I recently brought one as the family car and have found it brilliant off road when compaired with other 4B's in the same class. I have found out it has the H233B rear diff out of the Patrol and the same front diff as the Navara so lockers and diff ratios are readily available for them. Bullbars are hard to find as only 1600 Terrano II's were sold here in australia.

Any chance of getting some pics of your Terrano?
