Preping for long drive?

Exactly that..wot to do to have the 4by ready for a decent long distance drive... other than the obvius tighten anythin loose, service etc, any thing else that comes to mind?
Got to drive up to alice springs just after xmas dont wana be hitchhiking up the highway casue the lux shat itself:) if it can be helepd as best i can.
probly haev to do a few trips next year as well so yeah gota get it setup for highway drivin:)

grease all nipples
full oil change + new filters everywhere (fuel, oil, air)
Dump some injector cleaner into the tank of diesel
flush the cooling system put in new coolant
load fav cds for long drive
make sure got good supply of cold drinks and snacks

Make sure everything is secure.
Try to get a good nights sleep before you leave.
With current hot temp give your cooling system a real good check

also fill up the fuel tank
if your belts are more than 10,000km old, change them all. carry the old ones as spares. carry a reasonable tool kit even if you don't know how to use it - someone else who can will eventually come along. good spare tyre and a tyre repair kit (plugs and tools) and compressor. food, drink and swag etc so you are self sufficient so when you get tired you can sleep anywhere.

thanks all a few extras i didnt think off
ryan i woudl fix the whole but the sticky tape is doing a awsome job
