Post up any other weights as I'm sure everybody will benefit.

mud4b told me a 1.3L with 5.14 calmini's in it weighs 20kg with oil in it... guessing the 1L wouldn't be toooooooo far off that

incidentally, was around $30 to auspost (4-6 days) from brissy to newcastle

I sent NT diff parts a while back. I sent a diff centre and the short axle (rear) in 1 package, @ about 20kg
sent the other axle and the drums in another pack, also @ 20kg.

there is a 20kg limit thru Australia post. it is about $20 - $25 between the eastern states, and upto $35 to perth.

Use your bathroom scales to weigh stuff. fairly accurate, and everyone has one. use a rag so you don't get it dirty ;) or the missus will kill you :!:

zook parts

1.3l transfer case with mounts/cross members/ shifters 25kg
1.3l gearbox with gearshift + boot etc 25kg
complete 1.3litre engine 85kg
complete rear diff with springs/shock/brake lines etc 85kg
complete front diff with suspension/steering etc 105kg

i got bored one day waiting for funds to build the toysuzi
so that explains the time spent weighing spares

hope that helps
