little bits of knowledge saves heaps of $$$$$

Post by G_loomis »

noticed yesterday that 3 wheel studs had sheared off...leaving only 3 left holding the rim on...So ripped the hub off and spent about $40 on new studs and grease and did the job myself...

but just out of curiousity I rang a few mechanics for a quote...the cheapest one I got was $450.00.

I always knew mechanics charge a good hourly rate...but I never knew it was $400/hour...makes you re-think your career choice :P
