just to break up the suspension lift topics, but it got your attention!

I had 2" springs fitted to my GU when i bought it. However a mate of mine has a set of 4 4" springs and i would like to fit them. I still have original socks and lines etc, anyone know if i need to extend the lines or get long travel shocks put in if i fit these springs in?

depends on your shocks? what shocks are they and you may have to or eventually have to do panhards and some castor correction if you havnt already done it yet

You don't need to change panhard rods but you do need different shocks and extended brake lines. Swaybar extensions aren't essential but are strongly recommended. It's better with disconects anyway otherwise your suspension will be a waste of time unless all you intend to do is show pony on bitumen.

ok thanks guys, after some research i see what you mean.

would you say that this is a reasonable set for $200?

4 x Springs (2 front & 2 rear),
Snake racing sway bar disconnects for the front, also rear but missing a pin.
Front & rear sway bars for GU, with the holes drilled out to suit swaybar disconnects,

one front and one rear Rancho RS9

i know which one these are i was going to get them, they are in pretty good condition but yeah u will definatly need springs and you will definately need to do panhards eventually cause your bushes will just wear out the rear coils are massive almost 6" i reckon
