Outer Limits 4x4 Board

HAs any one heard of or used HiLux shackles on MQ springs on an MQ? A mate of mine had it suggested to him to use this type of set up, but we would like the benefit of collective experience/wisdom before taking any action.
He wants to get some lift with out a spring over.
Any assistance appreciated.

Just get extended shackles made for an MQ, easy as, whatever length you want to achieve desired lift. hilux shackles are most probably too thin to fit the patrol springs.
