Difflock search

Hi all, i have been lurking for a while on this board, i am trying to track down an old difflock which Jack macnanmara used to offer for series vehicles with a salisbury diff.

This consisted of a manual locking unit which used to be locked via the hub, the principle is simple and effective, the long shaft slides in and out of the diff cross shaft carrier and is spring loaded, the hub unit is a simple bolt which pulls the shaft in and out.

Does anybody have, or know some one who might want to sell one?? Please let me know if anybody comes accross one for sale.

I do not know if JM still offers this type of kit, do any of you live close by to him?? As i would also consider buying a new one if they are still made.

Thanks in advance
Patrick

Patrick,
welcome to Outer limits.

JM still makes or has components for these.

You dont want to hear this but I know a guy that sold a complete rear diff/axle in good condition complete with Mcnamara locker to a scrap metal merchant for a bout $8. on Tuesday. i checked with the scrap yard this morning but unfortunately its already on its way to either China or the smelters.
