going to sydney this weekend to buy a h55f to go behind the 3b in my hilux. how good is the transfer hanbrake from a bj42??? is it any stronger than the hilux handbrake or should a make a transfer mounted disk handbrake???

i have heard one bloke LOVES his trans brake and another HATES his trans brake mine is in drums in the back and does ok.
the following $0.02 may not be entirely correct
3b needs split case transfer case
you might have trouble finding a transmission brake for it.
marks adaptors do a conversion kit you need to shorten rear shaft 3" to fit it. the conversion usually costs around 1500 drive in drive out, but it sounds relatively simple as long as you can mod the shaft check their site
i reckon the 5 speed same story with the split xcase
