the cross country spring set has been designed and devised by brisbane spring works and is there own product.
They are an amalgamation of 2 spring worx being that of brisbane spring worx and mayne spring worx. Greg and the guys appear very friendly and prices appear reasonable for consumer market
(that does not include most outlimits persons
)
i have bought anti reversion shit off them myself for my 75 to get it going but i can't really comment on the quality of there springs..
But tgreg did say to me..like any spring set...if you buy good ones they last longer no matter the application, but ALL no matter what will need a reset at some point in time...rock hoppers just need it more frequently as with parabolic springs.
the location of brisbane spring works.is on toombul rd off the gateway motorway in brisbane (northside)
i had a card but dont right at this moment ..
A little information on the company for you..

Thanks, yeah there price is the cheepest I have found and they were pretty good to deal with. It seems like they will be the best of the cheap options for giving the hilux a lift and a better feel.
Has anyone out there run their springs ??

I was in 4X4 Wreckers today and they had cross country springs there as well. They reckon that they buy them from the USA which don't mtch it with what was said on hear, anyone know either way ? I am guessing they are either confussed or there is two different products with the same name.

I dunno, these were cross country for sure. I ran a search on pirate and found another Aussie guy who bought a set from wizard 4x4 on the gold coast. He was asking the US guys the exact same question and none of them had ever heard of them..
I met a guy today who was running them. He said for teh 1st 6mths they sucked as it was hard as a rock but after that they were good. He had em on for just over 3 years and was happy with them. I drove his truck and it felt good so I reckon I may just have to give them a go. It is just they seem very cheap so I am a little suss.

I got a cross country damper today, and it says its 'made in the USA' so maybe its only cross country shocks and dampers that are made in the USA?
