a mate is after a tube bender.looked at benders at tool shops but they all say pipe bender and shop staff have no info..
Does the pipe benders do tube as well !!!!...
my understanding is they dont unless stated ..
these r very cheap.

I pipe bender will be able to do tube *IF* it has the dies. The drama is that tube is measured on the outside diametre & pipe is measured via its inside diametre.

Therefore if you can find a die to suit the outside diametre of the tube & the thickness of the tube is not thicker than the maximum allowable for the machine, you will be right.

i brought a welder today at a nothmead tool shop and asked the guy about the benders ..his answer was similar to yours also said my mate can take some tube there and try before u buy .
