Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi,

when its cold i got some clunk clunk noise in front wheels. When I put in 4wd the noise disappears. Put it back to 2wd and its gone. When not putting in 4wd it clunks for about 20m then stops. What do you guys reckon it could be?
