OME now have the Emu Daakar Range and HD Front spring are worth $154 each. This is what I have ordered for mine. If you are a club member take 10% on top of that.
Rear springs are only $220 each.

i have been happy with the thick leaved iron man springs.
I will be replacing my fronts very soon as well as mine frowned on me very quick with the thin leaves.
i have a full ute pack in the front now just to keep the hieght but they do the same as my shagged ones when leaves are reduced.
they dont flex at all unless leaves reduced.
that means new ones time

I used to work for a long time family friend who only uses ironman parts. I have used ironman shockers in 2 G60 patrols and have been really happy. I revamped my suspension at the start of 2004 and so far am pretty happy. I put an extra leaf in the front, however, I will need to upgrade again, due to some miss calculations. I have a way to big steel truck bull bar which I have to piss off and downsize. The shackles are perfect and articulation good at the moment, however, I have to put back on my winch which will sag it too much. I also have a suspicion that the sping packs are fairly old, and should have been beafed up earlier. They are a good well priced option for oldish leaf sprung trucks, like MQ's etc..
Dad has also used polyurethane bushes in his rangie, first set laster 7 years, second - 5 years, third - 3 years still running perfectly. If you want any further info feel free to ask.

That is the problem i have.....
my bullbar would have to weight about 60kgs at least and the winch on it wieghs almost as much as the bullbar, plus the V8 puts a fair bit of movement through the springs when i tork it up.... so my springs sag.
I only want to run 4 leaves max in the front so i get good flex.... But if i run 4 even in a new pack they will sag.... so i need to run the full pack, and they are too stiff.
wat to do?!?!
well there are 2 different types of packs for the MQ, some have thin leaves and some have thick leaves.
the think leaves flex as well but are twice the tihnkness individually so if i have a 6 leave pack, i will only need 3.
Specifically ask for these... even a tow pack. then remove leaves and u have plenty to choose to remove from with a tow pack.

Stay away from pedders - at $2300+ supplied its a bit rich... but they have those big bore shocks..... yeah and they are that good? Rather a rancho or a Koni etc....
I priced Kings springs whic flex good and proper after a run in - my mate got em and I was quoted 1200 supplied with set of Rancho 5000 shocks too... that aint bad really and a good setup I feel for 2 inch lift.

pedders arnt the way to go on a 4x4 unless for towing or light use honestly.
for shocks, just monroes or if u want something extravigant go for ranchoes for tufftogs.
king springs are alos quite a good brand. happy reports about them also.
