Well as luck would have it, no-one appears to have a listing for an sd33 alternator 12v. So i go and get my alternator part number, turns out its got a 55amp hitachi. I thought stock they came with a 35amp or something similar? Well anyway, its a hitachi LT155-405, but alas, the hitachi part number still gets me no-where.

Looks like ill be pulling it apart myself to find out what damn bearings it has. But for those who want to know, there is a bolt in 55amp alternator for sd33's!

Just buy new one for $450.... Oh and I thought some time ago I was told by sparky a Daihatsu Delta uses the same style alternator with Vac pump on the back....

I got lots of 24v one but my mate got last 12v one.

Ive got the same unit, just got it rebuilt as it seized up, new bearings, brushes and rectifier/reg, think it was a touch under 200, i think the diode pack (for the rectifier) is soldered in so took a little longer to replace.
