i heard snake make one for around $330 but i just want to get up and running as my truck has heaps of work an $$ to go. i was thinking about threading some tube and running tie rod ends off each model but for the cost of the rod ends i might as well go snake. any quick fixes
89 maverick. what about gu pitman arm and drag link??? splines the same size????
cheers bru

No the pitman arm splines are different. You need a gq tierod one end and gu the other or you can re-taper the nuckle to a gq tierod end and run the bigger 22mm gq tierods or 25mm mq tierods.

Cheezy is onto it.
Cheezy, Snake and SG Leslie & Sons all do good arms. Cheezy probably sees more as he live and breathes the stuff, whereas the others just sell it. The Pro Comp Battle Rig runs Cheezy steering. It's so tuff I bend tie rod ends but my arms are still dead straight 2 Outbacks later.
If you are looking at pitman arms then flick the GQ steering box all together (very weak by Patrol standards) and get a GU box with drop pitman arm. Expect to pay up to a grand for box and arm. Hard to get because that's what all the competition patrols are doing.

cheezy with your draglink can i swap the tierod end back to gu if i get a gu box and pitman arm later, and can you pm me the price. also i think i have the rare gq extra strong gq panhard bracket which bolts to the back of the steering, will this interfere if i go to a gu box (i hope not as i have welded it to the chassis bracket when i dropped the panhard mount)
thanks cheezy and others
