They looks pretty cool. Did you have any problems with drive line angle when you lifted it up 2" on full down travel ?

I have several holes 1" apart in the brakets i made t weld on the frame, so i can run it back standard if i run into any problems with shafts etc.
Have only just put this in so haven't had a chance to put it on the ramp to check. Daily driving is the same no vib's so far!

Awesome work. If you have trouble with the bushes use a Nissan/Toyota trailing arm end & bush. Much biggerer.

When i installed Tony's 22r i fabricated new engine mounts which lifted the motor probably an inch, It all sits pretty level.
Had thought about making some, but my welding's ok but not spot on, will have to see. That the only photo i have.

Out of curiosity (It was a good price I know) but how does Tonys 22R run? does it break many of your parts? It broke a lot of his stuff :o

BJ,
Runs ok, had it dyno tuned the other day ( was retarded a bit

) HAULS ASS now, Smokes a 35" centepede ok

Gotta stop doin that , spose thats the drag racing side coming out in me. Haven't had a chance to break to much yet but i can understand with a bit more power it would be pretty easy. If i went wheelin with you guy's it would break more sh!t for sure. Not much hard stuff up this way. Must be cause i'm an old dude who has to drive his pos to work on monday!

cant see why not, it could even be built as part of the cross member.

It would be possible but you would need to modify the mounts to suit as the Transfer Caliper bracket would also mount to the same bolts as the crossmember so then it would not be in line with the disk due to the crossmember creating a spacer.
This would of course only be if you made the bracket to suit a standard case without the crossmember first.

exactly you couldn't mount it back to the case - easily i know someone on pirate has one with a FROR x-member

BJ,
The big round hole is the oil fill hole the others just tryin to make it look trick or a bit different!
Made some mounts & I used magna engine mounts ( because i got em cheep & they have heaps of soft rubber around them ) This is a pic bubs took at sams

do u find u get any vibrations using these mounts ?? i have got a buds4x4 job and am wondering wot 2 use as the mounts so as i dont get heaps of vibs ??

Mine mounts a different way to bubs. Have no vibes with the magna engine mounts but i had a lot with the first bushes i tried. The old ones never had much rubber in them & were fairly hard. Just get some soft rubber bushes
I have another pic of a crossmember i was going to originaly make, it shows the rubber bushes ( just rotated 90 deg. )
Hope it gives you an idea on how to mount it!

the cross member plate like you have hypo is designed to be mounted either way
the full kit will have it mount like toymads using Landcruiser Bushes
