ABOUT 7 MONTHS AGO I DID A BODY LIFT ON MY GQ LWB AND THIS WEEK FOUND A BRAKE LINE UNDER THE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER HAD BEEN RUBBING ON THE BODY BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN STRETCHED AND RUBBED A HOLE IN IT, HEY PRESTO NO BRAKES
SO THE MORALE TO THE STORY IS CHECK YOUR BRAKE / CLUTCH LINES FOR CLEARANCE AFTER DOING A BODY LIFT

ive only ever done it on MQ's, i wouldnt bodylift my GQ...
But with the MQ i just lightly curved the metal lines more so the rubber can have abit of slack...

No reason not to lift it just check... standard rule of thumb there.

Now at least those who havent done it yet will know.

Someone add it to the bible?

The front metal brake line rubs the body on the inner guard below the booster near the coil where we stretch the line for the body lift. Its a quick fix if you are aware of the problem. Prob pay for everyone to check theirs is ok

No probs, checked that before. Was thinking he had a flex line problem.
