Want to know what you think, is a 1kz-t better than a 3lt, more power and low end torque for 33`s, fuel economy about 20's, and what about getting parts for these bad boys in the US or to it at least?

Thanks, i want to stick with the 4:11 i have in the rear and i think it will work perfect with the r150 or r151 trans, im not sure which one it has but will find out soon, if not i will mate it to my r151 turbo trans i picked up. hope the gearing works out as i dont know what rear ends they were using with the 1KZ-T engine? thanks........

The 1kz t is better than the 5L t motor. It is the newer design of the two.

Well i hope shes a good motor, im worried about parts, but it only has 38k on it hope i dont need anything for a long time. I need a timer for the glow plugs and i still have to figure how to wire it up. I dont have the manual or engine in front of me yet, i did a ford 302 before i hope i can wire this up as well. I will have to keep getting advice from the pros, if you have any advice please chime in, this first timer is nervious!

Are you using a 1KZ-T or 1KZ-TE ??
The 1KZ-T is a simple wire up
The 1KZ-TE requires a computor for the engine
If you get a 1KZ-TE fit the mechanical pump
oh and fill in your profile
