Need to find a good mechanic in perth who could fix and OMC 360 V8???

you could try contacting one of the guys in the WA Jeep club at http://www.jocwa.org.au/ they will know the best local Mech to help you out.
Or you could give http://www.4wdusa.com.au/ these guys a try not sure what there workshop is like.
