I have fitted BFG muds 215/75/15 and want to lift my suzuki about 1 inch or so using longer home made shackles. Does anyone know if the standard length shockies can handle a lift of 1 to 1.5 inchs or will I need new shocks?

if you want the shackles for lift only (You only mentioned lift..not flex) I'd just fit a body lift.

They arent rubbing but are pretty close (BFG seem to be about 29inch) and too easily filled with mud. Just wanted the cheapest/easiest way of a bit more clearance, both tire/gaurd clearance plus a bit of chassis groung clearance.

If they're not rubbing I'd take the stability of a stock zook over the clearance of a lifted one personally.
