Just wondering if anyone has tried using something other than a genuine Nissan spring rubber as a substitute. Nissan want to charge me $31.45 a piece x 4 = rip off!

Thanks,
Pete

If they are rooted and need replacing I prolly wouldn't bother.

Or get some spring spacers for around the same price and get a lift thrown in!

where are you?

Give engineered urethanes (Brizzy) or someone similar a call and see what they have available.

cheers
Brian

Ok, you are correct.

What about the Spring spacers that ARB sell? could they be a substitute?

I'm using the 30mm engineered urethane spacers for the same price which give me a lift as well. No complaints from me. One thing to watch, with some higher lift springs, the coil may bind prematurely with the 30mm spacer now fitted. Not a problem with my 2" coils.

Thanks Mark,

Not actually after lift as i have 4" coils in just after something to stop the constant metal on metal squeek

what about any suspension place, you would think that they would be a standard item for any spring.... or repco/autobarn etc

What bogged says, seems a bit pricy for what they are, but the noise will drive you insane so it wouild prolly be worth it
