I finally have the money to get my new suspension for my dual cab luxbut am unsure of which way to go. At the moment i am looking at ARB and the seem alright (have the name going for them) and a couple of others but has any one had anything to do with Ironman suspension, he is willing to do a pretty good deal but the question is will they stand up to time.
I'm not a trady so no big loads to carry whats your ideas??

I was looking at terrain tamers but they looked just a little to cheap. The OME dakars are supposed to be better than the straight OME, made to the same specs but ofshore. They even have sleaves where the bushes go which the other dont. But the service that i am getting at ARB where i am is pretty shit. Sorry i should say the one guy i am dealing with this time is crap. i must have had the managers last time cause he gave me good discount.

I had decided to go the Oz made OME and suck up the cost but the guy in the shop said go the Dakar. He was sufficiently confident in them that he said if I wasn't happy, he'd swap them for the OME when I came back for the 2000km service

Suspension for the LUX
Check out your local EFS dealer, they are suposed to be releasing a 100mm lift this year. They also have standard and 50mm lift. Buy them in a package with the long travel shocks my mate runs them on his single cab lux and the flex is brilliant. On the other hand I am running parabolic front and enforcer rear springs and enforcer 75 series shocks all rond on my live axle 84 runner and this is great combo considering i dont carry any weight. (Dont need a kidney belt) lol.

thanks for the info gavinc from someone that has it its good to hear what they go like. I'm thinking i will go the OME dakars gets some 2" greasable shackles and some good shocks, that should last me a while. and as my name says (4x4family) it should go good when i get a trip to the cape organised!

4x4family how much have you been quoted for the ironman i paid 1000 bucks for mine dont get me wrong they been a alright spring they stan up to every thing i thow up to then and they have not saged in the 6 years that i have had then but they have a bad ride and no flex so not ggod for the familycheers gavin
