Trail Tough & Bushwacker Flares

Thought I'd start a new thread on this topic following on from Redzooks exo, and I think a few other people are interested in them so...
Regarding the 6" Trail Tough flares on Overkill's website for $800 set, they are actually Bushwackers ..... But I had been to the Bushwacker site before and noticed they didn't do any for zooks, but as Sam says;
.. the flares in the picture are the bushwacker ones which are 6 inch wide they are $800 a set. We can get a locally made set in either 4-6-8-10 inch they are $600 a set. The bushwackers are a plastic which is very flexible the aussie made ones are a fibreglass carbon mix and are more likely to crack if leaned on. SAM
Question #1
What do the Bushwacker Flares for Sierra's look like, or are they exactly the same as the Trail Tough ones? (As seen on the trail tough website)
Question #2
Can you get either Bushwacker or TT's imported in other sizes such as 4"?
If so, how much would they be?
Question #3
What do the Oz-made fibreglass carbon ones look like and who makes them?
I'd rather go tough flexy plastic ones, even though they are US made:)
Sam, can you help me out further on the topic??
Cheers from Jo

as far as i no the trail tough 1s come in the 1 size, the carbon 1s will crack if leaned on real hard, go the trail toughs.

Yeah that's what I reckon..... They look good too. But Im only going for 30" tyres, and until i get them on i dont really know how wide they're going to be. Im just guessing they'll be a bit wider than the stock flares. And until i get pulled over for it i'll be saving for bigger tyre guards!!! I just think the 6" ers will be too big. Anyone know? I'll find out soon enough anyway but....

the widetrack zook flares (the steel 1s r 3" wide) i have an extra 3" rubber on the swb which just covers the tyres.

Ok
I tried to but trail tuff flares like these ones
http://www.trailtough.com/body.htm
trail tuff wanted $300 US for flares and $370 US for postal
So then I contacted Rocky road when I saw they had the Zook bushwackers available
http://www.rocky-road.com/zukflare.html
I ordered these just before xmas they are costing me $300 US for flares and $90 US air freight approx $515 AUD and I might be hit 10% GST if I am unlucky
As far as I know the bushwacker flare comes in only 1 size
Here are some pics of the Aussie made flare
see this link for more

$370 US for freight???
Thats bloody crap! I know the yanks are really bad for their freight prices but thats just a rip off... If i decide on 6" my parents are going over there for a holiday around August this year so I might hit them up to get me a set and bring them back as, er luggage??!!
The Oz made ones i don't really like the look of... bit square and resemble something of an extended icecream container. Or a jeep flare
It seems that the Trail Tough and Bushwackers flares are identical in design, size, shape & look then?
Im going to do more searching......
Thanks for your info

Have you got them yet? If you have them, how long did it take from payment to recieving them?

Okay the trailtough flares are bushwacker ones.
The car pictured in the exo thread is running 32/11.5 mtr's on flipped rims.
The flares miss by covering the whole tyre by about half an inch.So if you run a 12.5 inch tyre you will either need to space the flare out or add some rubber.

If people are interested in a group buy then I can try and get a better price for all.

Ok the flares have landed
Was a bit of a stuff around ended up being out of stock or something so took longer than it should have.
Ordered in December was out of stock so eventually sent 11th Jan and arrived today 20th Jan
No customs fee
$515 AUD
Now I just gotta put 'em on
On a side note I got a bit antsy for these flares and thought I may have been ripped off. So I called my credit card company and for those that don't know this the credit card company would have given me a complete refund and charged the sending party
