Hi, I recently discovered mini spools in performance cars, just wondering if anyone has ever gotten onto anyone making them for the 4x4 market? I know you can get them in USA for Dana Diffs (and probably a lot more forbies) It'd hafta be way better than just welding the sun gears togeather.....looking forward to thoughts....cheers

Don't know of anybody that makes them as an off the shelf item, but you could get anybody with a lave to grind one up. Most hi- perfomance differential places would most likely be able to steer you in the right direction. Or you could try a fitter and turner. There is one in Dandenong called Modena that specialise in machining stuff for circut cars, i.e. axels, gears, etc.

People do it but not many as a blocked and welded one is just as strong and a fraction of the cost.....
