DOES ANY1 HAVE ANY INFO ON THE PHILLIPS FM320 UHF RADIO, COULD YOU PLEASEE FORWARD ME ANY WEB SITES OR PLACES IN VIC WHERE I CAN GET SOME INFO ON IT. ITS A GREAT RADIO BUT, I DONT KNOW HOW TO SET IT UP FOR ME, AND I HEARD YA CAN MAKE IT SCAN POLICE CHANNELS TO, CAN ANY1 PLEASE HELP ME :oops:

I have also posted it in general and the radio section but i thenb found out its for radio control vehicles not cbs and uhf, maybe we need to set up a section for uhf and cb help also maybe sales of them

this unit is a commercial type like a twoway that can be moded right? if it is you might have to go to a communication mob to get the info or they might be able to do it ive spoken to the guys that look after our fleet twoways and they said they new how but are not allowed to :bad-words: but iam going to pull one off them aside and ask about doing it on the side ;)

The Phillips FM 320 was the very first UHF CB. The really early versions didn't even have duplex (repeater). I wouldn't be relying on a 320 in the bush at all. They have a very poor receiver and somtimes are really struggling to even make 5 watts on transmit. Anyways if you look round on the net you should be able to find a few good "tweaks" for it. Eg.... Scan, 80 ch, more power etc..... no cop RX but. There like 20 years old!

If my mem servse me correctly u have to the the e prong re done to do all that, maybe ring some one Telstat and see what they say.

No eeprom in the 320 mate. The FM 650 had police RX. But that is like 10 years newer.

Sorry its not fm320 but its a fm620

Sorry about this but i was wrong it isnt a 320 but a fm620 computer controlled unit, i am after some info or help on the way to set it up for me as it was set differently.
