can anyone offer suggestions of a good not too expensive, aftermarket fuel pump that would be suitable for efi when i go it, but want to run it with a regulator and carb at present, it is for my yn67 hilux. any ideas for a reg??

To run EFI you need aprox 32psi constant at the injector but to run a carb you only need 6psi at the most. I dont know a Reg/pump that could handle regulating the fuel down that low from so high.
A cheap pump to use for the EFI though is a stock VL commodore one as they are everywhere and easy to perchase. This is how i ran mine. The pump was just mounted in front of the fuel tank on the side of the chassie rail and i never had any probs with it.

super cheap sell an inline pump for 90 bucks that is quiet and does 4.5 psi.
they also have a $129 square pump that does 6 psi but they are noisy.
i'm gunna use one of these as a transfer pump.
how much are the commodore ones [be heaps quicker]
