Pajero front seats into a Triton

Has anybody fitted a set of Pajero front seats into a Triton. The front seats in the 2000 GLX Dual Cab could only be called average at best, so looking for a more up market replacement. Could go for an aftermarket set, but a bit outside budget. So hopefully pick something up from the wreckers that may be a close fit without too many mods.
Any thoughts.
Cheers

u could try 4x4 parts australia at brendale. If u measure up ur bolt holes on the bottom of ur seat they can measure up the bolt holes on the paj seats to see how close they are. I'm looking at doing the same to my paj as the old seats i have are starting to sag in the middle so i am looking at putting later model seats in mine.

Have you costed having your existing seats overhauled? A decent auto upholsterer can change the shape for you - add lumbar support, side bolsters, adjustable/inflatable "pillows" to customise the seats, and because the frames are the original factory units there are zero ADR issues.
Just a thought,
Scott

Thanks to all the replies so far. I especially think your idea is worth considering Scott. Will go track down an auto upholsterer and see what the go is

i think i have discovered the solution to our problem!!!
my brother bought a 99 model challenger yesterday. and its seats seem to be verry similar to the triton ones, the mounts look the same. only difference is that they r actually comfortable:)
i will take both seats out first chance i get and prove this theory, and if it works i will be in the hunt for a set of challenger seats

Excellent work!!! I have heard that there are a number of similarities between the Triton and the Challenger (or maybe I should say shared componentry)
Look forward to your next post hopefully confirming a possible easy fit
