Hey guys , has any body come up with a cheaper homemade alternative shocky for the front or has any company started making a cheaper replacement for the factory one.
I think they are 250 bucks a piece from Suzuki. Im not really after long tavel at this stage because its a daily driver. Could i remove the spring saddles and weld them to another shock without damaging the new shock?.
Thanks

you can do that depending on what shock you use..

it is better to get a duel wall shock for this but you can do a single wall by making a sleeve to fit over the bottom of the shock then weld your retainer onto it.

most exhaust shops can do this for you.

I just bought my shocks for my coilly from suzisport, about 150 or so each will check my receipt to confirm. Bought 2" lifted springs and shocks all round and is handling great. Would buy off them again, great service and great product.
