I know everyone does 50mm hangers but I've just made up my new cross member and have made it 75mm drop and 100mm deep, as to push the hangers forward, Haven't welded it on yet, so does anyone see whether this will be a problem, already run 2" dropped shackles,

I reckon this should help with castor angles, as from memory hilux springs don't sit flat originally, but sit lower from front, haven't looked under a stock lux in years so grill me if I'm wrong!

it wouldn't change your castor that much, I dont think you have to worry about anything.

Here is a pic of my hanger. It ended up being 50mm forward and 70mm lower. The only prob I have found is that I had to hack a heap out of the radiator support panel to get the steering box forward enough to align the steering rod.

Note: On this pic you wil notice that the spring mounting points are wider than standard as well. This is because I am running Patrol axles and the extra width is needed to prevent the spring being mounted on the side of the pumpkin.

it'll be fine. i'd brace it vertically from the chassis to the cross member. also bracing it from the new cross member to the old because your moving it forward. check out hypolux's buildup with his front hangers ;)
