I am wondering if anyone could give me some advise on body lifting a HZJ 75 . It is for a friend i have lifted a few rangies in my time yet not sure what is required for the crusier ( i am yet to look under it ) . What is required and what pitfalls are there lifting it by 2 inch. with a rangie a 2 inch lift is the max without heaps of small mods is this the same for a toyota? . Is there anything i should be careful of when lifting it ? What bolts/brackets do i have to mod aswell ?

Thanks heaps Joe

fan shroud
gear shift boot "adjustment" 2nd and 4th will accasional pop out if you dont
front diff breather tube mount released and replaced or extended
flex brake tube on drivers inner guard replace to correct length or let it float
release steering coupling and retighhten after raised
battery cables may need replacing
heater pipes may need replacing
top rad hose may need replacing
lower rad hose may need replacing
air intake tube may need insert or replacement tubing

this is from memory two suit 2inch lift..3 inch opens a whole bunch a more hurt....

punchy is largely correct, although my heater and rad hoses have been fine. air intake needed modifying. thats for 2" as punchy says, 3" opens a world more hurt.
