Will 15in Rims fit 94 80 Series?

I have ROH2 15X8 Rims.

I just put them on the 80 series and they have cleared the calipers and discs. Im sure this model comes with 16in rims standard.

The question is will they be too close? Anyone see any problem with this?

If you can turn the wheel and it doesn`t hit at all then it will be fine, the rear calipors are normaly what hits.

Sure 94 models came with 16's but 91-92 models had 15 's on .
The 15' chrome steelies they came with were very close to the rear calipers though , if yours dont hit you have no problem .

They changed the brakes on them at the start of 93.

15's won't fit on my 80, the ones i had on my 60 didn't any way.

Early 80 series came out with 15x7

Your brake calipers will hit some styles/offsets of rims, the only way to know for sure is put them on!

as has been said , it doesn't matter how close they are to the calippers
as long as they don't touch. Ive got a 94, 80 & had to grind a bee's dick off
to fit 15" rims to easy.

Also seen 15's with a 19mm back spacing fit later model ones - thinking of doing that on my bus...

I have a 93' and 15's scrub without the spacing.

the fronts fit good. the backs u have to grind a bees d*%K off the outer edge stuff all i have 15x8 on my 93' 80 series

Does anyone know the minimum offset for this fitment, I read on another thread that some 15x8's don't fit even with grinding.

I would much rather keep running 15's on the rangie (with 80 series diffs '94 mod)

toyota upgraded the brakes in august 1992 when the 80 first got the 1fzfe in em to replace the 3f. more go = more stopping power needed.
I got 15 x 8 roh rims on 96 running gear but the centres are flipped and offset 30mm. they stick out past the flares but give good slope stability.
nissans die young, toyotas go on for ever.
