Has anybody here done a spring over conversion on a sierra?

I am thinking of buying a sierra and wondered which is the best way to do a huge lift on a budget. Spring-over or a Calmini kit of some sort. I want to work out how much it will all cost before I buy a Zook.

Any help would be useful :D

I want to achieve a result similar to the below picture....

It looks like its a mixed bag of opinions on springover conversions and suspension lifts, who to listen too?

Sam from Overkill Engineering does a springover conversion -

SAM - HOW MUCH?

Is it cheaper just to do a 2" body lift and put OME 2.5" lifted springs in? I want to run 32" tyres, but wide ones on offset rims.

I run 32 Mongrels on mine...I have 50mm body lift, 40mm ome spring lift. front axle forward 20mm and a small bump stop spacer on front. this all clears fine..spring over is only cheap if you can do it yourself...it can work, but you need to consider track rods etc, to help control axle wrap, due to more leverage on springs.....my mods are easier and cheaper to do yourself, but may cost a bit more if ya paying somebody...christover

Traded the GV in for a car as I drive 1000k's+ a week and a own a house now, one had to go  The house won, but a cheap fourby toy is the new plan. I miss it, it's now in SA on carsales for sale $19k, I traded it for $16k and sold it in NSW!

Oh well at least I'm getting another ZOOK, this will be my 4th! :D
