got my highmount out at the moment so does anyone on the goldcoast or brisbane do the mod to add rods to the winch ends

I know what you mean but ive never seen it done.

so the cable doesnt overspool?

just move it back so the back of the winch is hard against something and you won't have to spend the money!! You can buy me a beer with the money you saved.

I was almost going to do the overspool mod, but I have given up working on my pile of rust and bird poo. I am half thinking of wrecking it out in a few months and building a siiiik mate buggy. But there are pics of my brake mod, and rollers mod, and freespool mods all on here!

one of the main reasons for the mod is to stop the end plate from twisting which stops the thing from freespooling.
MMM does the mod but that up at morayfield.
