Locking pins for buggy leaf

Has anyone used an electric or air operated locking pin for buggy leaf rear?
Was thinking of the advantage of it being able to be locked off at the push of a button for better down hill control.

I have read through most of the 3/4 articles but still to find out exactly where the locking pin goes? Where...
As far as the legal thing. I think you have to use a tool to take the pin out. If not worried about that. I dont c how it will not work.

the pin would go right down the end of the spring near the eye to which the shackle mounts.

with the buggies on my scout I just pin it near the top shackle bush/eye cross ways with a 5/16 bolt & nyloc nut,works fine would be good if you could push a button in the cab but!
