hiya,

I'm currrntly rebuilding a 82' Jeep cherokee / wagoneer. It has a AMC 360 backed by a 727 torque flite . Going to get the 727 rebuilt/recon . Have heard about the transpac kit, that it sapposedly makes shifting more precise and you can hold any revs your motor can hold in any gear without it changing.

Wondering if this is true? any benfits from this kit strength wise , etc ?

Also if anyone know any quality Automatic reconditioners that specialize in performance builds to do with the 727's in Brisbane ??

hey bartso...just wondering if u can give me some kind of figure for the work that was done to ur gq auto and what were the symptoms? i have auto behind standard tb42 and it is in need of some work. the over drive is shot and i feel like my kick downs need adjusting. also alot of heat comes from the box. i love the auto and want to have something strong as im going up tyre sizes very soon and dont want to over load the box..cheers dude
