Crown Wheel and Pinion Q

Will the crown wheel and pinion outta a hilux front diff fit in a high pinion 80 diff???

Probably a stoopid question but if u dont ask u dont learn...........

nope.
80 series centres will take only 80 series gears.

the lux has the pinion in the lowr part of the hemi as in the rear of an 80. That means the gears are cut reverse for the lux, or reverse for the 80 depending on your view point :-0
100 series 4.3's will fit though!the whole diffs that is...bigger brakes, lower ratios, cheaper rims...lol

you can fit ring a pinions out of a bundera for the front but not sure what ratios are available for the rear

One of my mates was running 33 on his lux and he got hold of some 5.3 centers down here
