Just fitted a set of 255/65 R16 to my Disco 2 (has 2" suspension lift) with standard Michellin rubber and am wondering if anyone knows of a good resource for suggetsed tyre pressures for various off road conditions?
Or can anyone make suggestions for sand, mud, rock, dirt etc.

The placard stated 28F and 36-40R I think it is, though 28 is a bit soft IMHO. I run/ran 36psi all round with the Michelins, 40R with a full load.
Sand.......... stockton 12-15psi, Simpson/Fraser Is. 18-20psi - it varys.
Rock.......... 20psi slowly
dirt trails.... 25-35psi depending on load and speeds
mud........... at your own risk. I've seen these break the bead and leak around at 25psi.

This is what I ran/run on a D2 with michelins, though others may vary.

Cheers
