GQ Diesel Auto Questions

I have some questions about the GQ diesel automatics, Is the auto the same for the petrol as diesel, and what is involved in converting a manual diesel to auto?
The reason I ask is the petrol and diesel bell housings are different, can the auto use the standard diesel bell housing?

Diesel is different to petrol. remember that when changing from Petrol to diesel engines you have to change the bellhousing. The manual box remains the same. However you can't unbolt the bell housing from the auto. We have an auto to try, but unsure about the reliability, particularly with a turbo.

My auto GQ if fine with turbo, has been for 50,000+
