the 40 frame length is 3385 mm and the 45 is 4390 mm except for that there is not much that is different provided you keep the 45 runnning gear . if i had a scanner i would send you the dimension out of the toyota repair manual.
well i hope this helps ?

you may want to do something with the wheel arches as the 40ser will be in the wrong spot. The front 4 cab mounts will line up but the rear ones will need crossmembers made. It's easier going 45 to 40 ser chassis as long as they are the same body style ie fuel tank either under seat or under floor.

there's a bloke running round near where I live, his got a 45 troopie bottom and a 40 top, so ineffect its like a 2 door duel cab with a small tub in the back, which is actually the remanent of the troopie end.

I thought the 45 chassis is an extra 300-400mms longer at the back... I bought a tow bar thinking it would fit but there's an extra length it bolts onto that the 40 doesn't have.
