Front Detroits Are Go.............

Post by Bitsamissin »

OK I spoke to Andrew at Geelong Diffs today and 30 Detroits are virtually ready to go.
Mine gets installed first thing after easter :D
These will fit all 8" Gen 1 V6's, Gen 2 3.0 V6 manuals and all Gen 2 & 3 3.5 V6's. There is still a question mark over Gen 2 3.0 V6 auto's as there is anecdotal evidence that they had a smaller front diff (7.5"). They will also fit V6 Tritons and Challengers but better to check with him.
If your interested call Andrew on 03 5278 1132.

Rob the cost is the same as an ARB fitted.
I've still got some more things to do Ed but fully locked is the priority the front has to pull it's weight now
Where were you on sunday ? We did a hill that had yellow Lux twin locked with 33" MTR's written all over it
Also Baz just updated to new 33" BFG's for the road and is looking for some 35"s for offroad (hasn't decided what yet) his rear ARB goes in this week.
Now you two can have a diesel Lux shootout

For sure Locky, the BFG's struggle in the Toolangi slop.
Baz is thinking Simex now but I'll stick with the X Terrains, we'll be in touch soon.
