really makes me wonder about my luck sometimes!

Anyways, I finally got my springs and shocks in, after much buggering around, pretty happy with the results - although I'm hoping my springs and shocks loosen up a bit with use because they're stiffer than Michael Jackson at a Wiggles concert atm... but asides from that pretty happy with the result.

Anyways, got a phone call as I was almost finished asking if I wanted to come out for a hack, so I cable tied my indicators and plate to my roobar (looks so scabby  ), let down the jacks and jumped in... only to find my car wouldn't move. I had it in low range when I got in, then as I shifted it into what I thought was 2WD it got stuck... I guess it's either neutral or between gears.

The t/case is stuck in what I presume is neutral and won't come out (No, it's not the shifter sheet). My case is full of milk, and it smells absolutely feral. There's probably more bog water in it than gear oil. I'll drop some new oil in tomorrow, anyone got any tips on how to get it back into gear? Cos asides from wiggling the shifter I got nothin :D fuggin annoyed because I'm keen as to see how it goes on the new tyres - I even had to push it out of the garage!

Big thanks to nicbeer for comin out and helping at a wierd hour on short notice - ur a champ mate

Give it a rock back and forth as you try to move the Tcase gearstick

Apart from that, buggered if I know :?

I have had the same problem with mine. Basically what happens is the selector forks and the end of the stick get worn so that if you don't pull the tcase leaver all the way down before you go across to 2wd you jam a couple of the selectors together. The easiest way is to pull the tcase lever and use a screw driver to realine the selectors in the box.

Cheers

my t case always gets stuck in neutral when changing from low to high 4wd if i dont do it while the car is rolling... so i pull off the boot and get the leaver out and push the selector pin on the pasenger side to the front of the car using a big flat blade screwdriver then i put the leaver back in and put it into 2wd as you normaly would..... preaty easy takes bout 10-15 mins of mucking round.

Nah mate first thing I checked... was brand new, I guess whoever had the car prior to me already had the problem.
