MQ/MK Height Question

Hi guys,

I'm new to these forums. Looking at buying an MQ/MK as my first 4x4.

I've got a question in regards to the height of the vehicle with a 2" body lift and a 2" suspension lift with say 33" tyres.

Does anyone know how heigh this makes the vehicle? I just want to make sure it will pass through my garage before I go getting one.

Cheers
Jason

Jas, allow for ruffly 2 meters to the top of the fibroglass canopy. Thats why I built a car port....... :P

Just get the standard hieght of the car. Minus half an inch for sag since new specs...

Then add 2 inches for body, 2 inches for suspension, and 1 inch for tyre.

I think at standard hieght in the book they are about 230mm high from the sill panel to the sill....

Not sure on hieght in total sorry

If it's any help, I am 199cm tall and I can see over the roof of an MK with 2" body lift and probably slightly sagged springs.

If you allow 2metres you should have no problems.

Thanks guys,

If it doesn't fit I'll just let the tyres down drive through and pump them up again. I'm pretty close at two metres. Stupid arch.

Thanks for your help guys.

Why worry about putting it in the garage.......

If its like mine the engine never gets cold enought to warrant gararging !

Just drive it ! and park it on the nature strip
