mine had an exhaust leak at flex and vibrations went through passenger floor. it really sounded like a driveline problem but on further inspection found a hole. at a certain rpm or load it would vibrate. never lnow could be a possibility. usually not so much a drama on a petrol though as they dont vibrite as much.

i had a similar problem in a petrol gq i had. it turned out to be the muffler

outer skin was loose with the result being that i thought the front diff was

stuffed due to the amount of vibration being put through the car

especially the passenger floor. drove me mad :bad-words: until i found

the cause ;) .

Nothing through steeringwheel, then that counts out
wheelbearings
casterbushes
panhardbushes
controlarm bushes..

As others have said, check zaust.... Not a loose bar on the front?

but it may sound like its coming from one area, it could be from a totally different area...

Check that the coils aren't sliding up and down on the hat on the diff. Had a noise in mine and it turned out to be that.
