I ran the rig today and found that with my hydro assist the steering was a bit delayed or slow to react(easy at slow speed hard when reafin off the wheel)
is there a way to up the flow easy or is there a pump out there i can adapt????

The standard 2.8 pump. I have heard now that there is not much difference between all the pumps in the amount that they flow.

I haven't checked the above link (my comp dies when I open up pirate) but if it's like all the others then it will involve opening up the reducer fitting at the pressure out port and possibly shimming or stretching the relief valve.
In my experience, this is not the problem. I have done these mods a number of times (and ruined good pumps because of it) and the only time that you notice a difference is then the fluid becomes aerated.
So my interpretation of this is that the galleries or ports on the box are too small to allow enought fluid transfer. But once the fluid becomes aerated, then it passes through easier and thus faster.
I checked this by drilling out the reducer in 0.5mm increments. I couldn't detect any difference until it started to whine. Then the steering became great. Unfortunately, pumps don't like this and every time you turn the motor off, it spews fluid everywhere.
The best pump mod is probably to install a saginaw pump as many have used these with success in lots of applications. Unfortunately, I don't have an easy answer for the box issue except for using a smaller ram and thus requiring less fluid transfer.
Good luck!
